Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Inc., is a not-for-profit organization providing both short and long-term care skilled nursing care, and specialized rehabilitative services.

With 312 beds, Roman Eagle is one of largest long-term care facilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia and contributes in excess of 21 million dollars annually primarily to the Danville-Pittsylvania County economy. The facility is dually certified for payment through Medicare and Medicaid.

The first phase of the Center for Rehab & Wellness opened in October, 2017 and the second phase opened mid-2018. The Rehab Center, a state-of-the art 54,000 square feet facility, consists of 50 private rooms. This addition features the latest therapy & exercise equipment, an aquatic therapy pool, cafe and hair salon.  Roman Eagle's licensed capacity of 312 beds remains the same. The lower level features a Wellness Center which offers exercise and wellness programs for seniors as well as Roman Eagle's employees.
